5min | Review Deadlines | | Upcoming Deadlines - Sprint completion 6/14/2017
- July 21st finish prototypes and final design
- Early August, purchasing for devices
- Early September begin build process of devices with ULL students
|
| O&M | | Status update: - Both sensors are still going since May 18, 2017.
- Started LEaRN Wordpress site
- We need to start thinking when and where we would deploy our next prototypes, and what sensors those prototypes will include.
|
| Hardware | | Status update: - Mobile sensor plans (Alghamdi, Taghreed (LEARN))
- Hardware status:
- Low-cost PM sensors, 4 ordered from DF Robot
- Received - not yet communicating
- Aeroqual higher quality O3 sensors, 6 total ordered
- Received - not yet communicating
- Alphasense higher quality PM sensors, 5 ordered
- Received - not yet communicating
- Temperature/Humidity/Pressure sensor
- Successfully receiving data
- Case
- Polycase might not work with us
- Looking into alternatives in case plans fall through
- Will either go with Polycase or another vendor by Thursday June 8th.
- Inventory Management
- Ridgeway, Terysa (CGI) has started prototyping an inventory system
- Possible to use JIRA (waiting on svc desk)
- In the mean time starting a table in Confluence to get started.
|
| Firmware and device management | | Status update: - Comeaux, Justin M (CGI Federal) and Krulick, Daniel (CGI Federal) are meeting to talk about how to read data from new sensors
- Finished code for Temp, Pressure, and Humidity (BME 280, Adafruit), and Temp. and Humidity (DHT11) sensors
- DF Robot PM2.5 sensor driver available through Intel UPM.
- Begin coding high-end sensors. (06/07/2017)
- Meeting 6/7/2017 to work on further sensors
- Documentation of sensor deployment
- Will document disabling of Wifi and Bluetooth (06/07/2017) Miles, Brian (CGI Federal), I will make you a notifier for you to review it.
|
| API | | Status update: - Service-driven paging
- 80% complete, will be done by end of this week.
|
| Visualization and Use Cases | | Status update: - Ridgeway, Terysa (CGI) reached out to Carlee to schedule a visit to review data/data sets that are available
- Using the Thingsboard.io application as a basis for dashboard prototyping
- Awaiting traffic data from LCG - current LA DOTD data is only done annually, or every 3-5 years
- Can also talk with Monique Boulet at the MPO
- Use cases:
- Added details to use cases
- Began wire framing/prototypes of dashboards to support specific use cases.
- Will e-mail LCG re. data access tomorrow/Wed.
- Visualization
- LEaRN website
- We need to develop, by July 1st, a LEaRN website, hosted on Azure, that serves as a landing page to the project
- Need to register a domain name
- Set up a web server is Azure
- Add content from proposal as a project description section.
- Links to:
- Dashboard
- Source code
- Agile IQ
- etc.
- Matkin, Benjamin K (CGI Federal) will work on this for the next sprint
|
| Architecture | Chepudira, Karthik (CGI Federal) | - Setup a virtual sensor in the API - Manually (Postman)
- Created Azure Iot Hub and setup devices
- Created script for automation of device creation from the API
- Created a sample Azure function(c#) for processing Iot events
- The function talks to API and creates observations
- Created a MQTT broker (Azure VM) using mosquitto and bridged to Azure Iot Hub
- Created POC for end-to-end of a simulated sensor (Virtual sensor located at CGI building)
- It mirrors the the real sensor at Eraste Landry (Adds a bias (+5%) to the result)
- Can communicate to Azure IoT hub directly from device
- Can communicate to the MQTT broker bridged to Azure Iot hub
